Trying to get back into the swing of things after a holiday break has been a struggle for me. Which is probably why my eyes appear more tired than usual. Days like this my go-to sheer BB cream just doesn’t quite cut it. I need something that’s full coverage to cover these 5:00 AM dark circles, and that is exactly where the Physician’s Formula #InstaReady Full Coverage Concealer comes into play. Now, I’m not usually a fan of heavy coverage makeup products, but I am so glad this tiny little bottle of makeup glory has found its way to my desk.
What allows this concealer to be dubbed as a social media photo enhancer is its unique formula, which is particularly focused on the lighting effects on the skin. It is the latest addition to the brand’s #InstaReady collection which also includes a pore-blurring BB cream and contour stick (which also doubles as a great eye shadow base—according to Chrissy Teigen). The creamy product contains color filter pigments which diffuse light—ultimately resulting in an airbrush effect. But TBH that’s not the best part. The deluxe-sized bottle comes with the most adorable applicator tool—a hot pink baby-sized makeup sponge.
Once applied on the skin, the creamy concealer appears super thick (almost too thick), but as you blend you can see it instantly begin to blur out any dark circles, fine lines, and redness. The product leaves an even matte finish without appearing cakey thanks to its smooth consistency. As a bonus it also includes SPF 30 which protects the delicate under-eye area from any sun damage. As of now the concealer only comes in three shades: Fair, Light, and Medium. But with these photo-friendly results we’re hoping their shade range will expand soon.
