Ruby Woo, Velvet Teddy, Lady Danger—Signature M.A.C. lipstick shades are aplenty, but the new M.A.C. ColourRocker lipstick collection may just dethrone your fave. (R.I.P. Film Noire. You were good to me.) The boldest collection from M.A.C. yet launches next month with 28—yes, 28—pastel, neon, inky, and bold shades. Sure, the Liptensity line has some pretty outrageously edgy shades like a navy blue and a bright grape, but there’s a bright lime green one in this rainbow selection aptly named Into the Madness. I’ve never known I needed that Shrek-like shade on lips in all 25 years of my life, but now, it’s all I can think about (even more than doughnuts and dogs in sweaters).

Sure, there are some safer choices, like Mud Wrestler (a creamy neutral beige) and Gritty Girl (a light cool brown), but how could you not want to experiment with some of the more edgy shades? Show And Teal (a bright green blue teal), Forbidden Sunrise (a creamy orange), and Yellow You Dare? (a warmed yellow) are just begging to be used in an upcoming Lipstick Roulette, don’t you think? I always seem to find new go-to shades while doing those Facebook Lives. All 28 of the ColourRocker lipsticks will have a matte finish and come in the company’s signature black tube. (BTW did you know you can trade in six empties for a free lipstick?)

The M.A.C. ColourRocker lipstick collection is launching in February for $17—just like their other lipsticks. All 28 of the edgy shades will be available whereever M.A.C. is sold, as well as maccosmetics.com. You’ll also be able to shop the new Viva Glam collection next month, too.
