Though we’re not quite sure how it started, lately, the beauty blogger world has been obsessed with creating makeup tutorial videos in which other people—generally, those less well-versed in the world of makeup—provide voiceovers and narration. This tutorial, created by makeup blogger Ellarie, has to be the best of the bunch.

In the video, a tutorial for a party-worthy blue smokey eye look, Ellarie recruited her five-year-old daughter, Yoshidoll, to do the narration. Though it’s obviously not the first time little Yoshidoll has joined in on mama’s makeup routine—the girl knows her stuff!—she doesn’t quite have the vocabulary to explain the multi-step process like a seasoned blogger would. The result is at once hilarious and heart-meltingly adorable (kids really do say the darndest things).

The tutorial starts with Yoshidoll introducing the video off-screen, while mom mouths the words she’s saying, making it appear as though mama has the voice of an excited toddler. Once Ellarie starts her beauty routine, however, her daughter simply handles the voiceover, narrating all (and I do mean all) of her mother’s actions and movements. The best moments are when Yoshidoll isn’t quite sure of the proper terminology to describe her mom’s routine: She uses phrases such as “blushing” instead of blending, and “sparkle sparkle” instead of highlighter, effectively stealing our hearts and earning the number one spot for the world’s cutest child.

The eight-minute long video was posted to YouTube on Tuesday, and has already racked up an impressive 15,645 views. Once you watch it, you’ll understand why this tutorial has stolen the internet’s heart.
